About Nicole
Where should I start? First of all, this is my first semester at Chico State. I just (finally) transferred from butte college, from which I have received my Associates in Business Administration. My next step is to receive my Bachelors in Marketing. I have plans to attend graduate school, but I’ll have to see where I’m at in life by then. What do I want to do when I’m done with school? I am not quite sure of that myself, however; I would love to help create funny commercials. I love to laugh and I would love to have a job making people laugh as well.
I’ve lived in Chico since I was about 12 years old. We moved here from Running Springs (mountains near San Bernardino, southern California). I still hate the snow! After getting married a little more than 10 years ago and having three kids, I am “finding my path in life” so to speak. We brought upon ourselves a hard road, but we are slowly making it through together. My husband also attends school and will receive his degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Interests??? Well, I love to sing! I took a course at Butte College called Voice. My instructor had us singing opera most of the time. We even performed with a class from Chico state. Here we are. (I am in the front, gold dress) I like to write songs, poems and I’m even learning how to play the guitar. You can tell I like animals because right now I have a turtle, 4 parakeets, and two hermit crabs. They are all pretty easy to take care of, with the help of my other animals (children).
I look forward to this semester and getting to know everyone!

That's great! there are a few marketing majors in this class. I transferred here from Butte College as well, got all of the pre-bus. classes and g.e.'s out of the way.
Nice, same as me! It feels great to make a dent in school and see that your goal isnt too far ahead. Maybe i'll see you in some of my classes.
nice there seems to be alot of people who move here from southern california. im from San diego. are we all running from something down there? heh jk, probably just need a change of atmosphere i know i did.
